Founder of The Movement Doc of Texas
Dr. Ponce is the founder of The Movement Doc of Texas. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2013 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Foods and Sciences. With more than 12 years of experience, she has dedicated her career exclusively to orthopedic care. In 2020 she completed a three‑year fellowship at OPTIM Manual Therapy, earning the Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) designation, which recognizes advanced expertise in orthopedic manual therapy. She became a Board‑Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in July 2022—an achievement, alongside the FAAOMPT credential, attained by fewer than one percent of physical therapists nationwide.
Her practice focuses on treating the CrossFit community, competitive athletes, mixed martial artists, and active individuals. She is also certified in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. Dr. Ponce believes in providing highly attentive, personalized care and delivers her treatments one‑on‑one to achieve the best outcomes.

Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Blakley earned her physical therapy doctoral degree in 2012 from Hardin-Simmons University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from the University at Albany. She has over 12 years of experience treating a variety of injuries including orthopedic, sports, concussions, visceral and a myriad of other conditions.
She is also an instructor for the Fascial Distortion Model which specializes in treating all soft tissue and musculoskeletal complaints quickly to return athletes/patients to their sports quickly. She has additional skills in treating concussions, migraines and TMJ through the use of Craniosacral techniques as well as Visceral Mobilization which can all impact the way the body moves and responds to healing.
Ashlee was a former Division 1 volleyball player and has suffered through multiple injuries herself throughout her athletic career which led her to pursue physical therapy as her profession. In addition to her work, she is a mother of two young kids and happily married to her husband Josh. When they are not at a sporting event, they love to spend time outside finding the nearest playground.

Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Brent Rachall earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University in 2014 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University in 2019. After graduation, he completed an orthopedic residency and became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in May 2021.
Brent has pursued advanced certifications in Therapeutic Pain Neuroscience, Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and Dry Needling. He is currently pursuing a fellowship with Optim Manual Therapy to achieve the prestigious FAAOMPT designation. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and plans to pursue additional board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).
Brent is committed to helping people reach their highest level of physical performance through evidence-based care and clinical precision. His treatment style blends strength and movement science with manual therapy to promote lasting change.
Outside the clinic, Brent is passionate about weightlifting and consistently challenges himself through evolving training methods. He values an active lifestyle and prioritizes quality time with his wife and two young children—anchoring his belief that balance in life is key to long-term well-being.
Brent is currently running for a position in the Texas Physical Therapy Association House of Delegates, where he hopes to represent the profession with clarity, integrity, and a forward-thinking mindset focused on access, autonomy, and excellence in care.
